Our refund policy in plain English: what we guarantee on every order, when you get your money back, and how to claim.
Our guarantees
Full refund if we can’t deliver
If your link isn’t live within the turnaround shown on your order, you get a full refund, or credit if you prefer.
Specs guarantee
Every site meets the DR, organic traffic and niche you ordered on the day we deliver, or we replace or refund that link.
6-month replacement
If a link is removed or made nofollow within 6 months, we replace it free. If we can’t, we refund that link.
First-order money-back
Not happy with your first order for any reason? Full refund within 14 days of delivery, up to $250.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel any order for a full refund until it moves to In progress (when we start outreach or writing). After that, the guarantees below apply instead.
Monthly plans have no lock-in. Cancel any time before your next billing date and you won’t be charged again; we finish delivering the links you’ve already paid for that month.
If we can’t deliver
Each product shows a turnaround time on its order page (for example, 14 to 21 days for guest posts). If we can’t get your link live within that time, you choose: a full refund to your original payment method, account credit, or more time while we keep working on it.
For digital PR campaigns, the order page states the minimum number of links. If we deliver fewer, we refund the shortfall pro rata.
Specs guarantee
We choose and vet every site ourselves; you don’t need to approve sites in advance. Instead, we guarantee that on the day we deliver, every placement meets what you ordered:
- the Domain Rating (Ahrefs) tier you ordered or higher,
- at least the minimum organic traffic stated for that tier (the bottom of its range, Ahrefs estimate),
- a dofollow link to your URL with the anchor text you gave us,
- a site relevant to your niche, with no link farms, PBNs or adult, gambling or pharma content unless you ordered those niches.
If a placement misses any of these, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we’ll replace it with one that meets the spec, or refund that link in full. Your choice.
6-month link replacement
If a link we delivered is removed, or changed to nofollow, within 6 months of delivery, we replace it free with a placement of the same tier or higher, usually within 14 days. If we can’t find a suitable replacement, we refund that link in full.
This covers the link staying live. It doesn’t cover changes to a site’s third-party metrics (DR or traffic) after delivery, because those move for reasons outside anyone’s control.
First-order money-back guarantee
Your first paid order with us, for any product, is covered by a money-back guarantee. Claim for any reason, no questions asked, within 14 days of delivery.
- Once per customer.
- The refund is the amount you paid for that first order, up to $250. Orders above $250 are still covered, up to $250.
- For a monthly plan, it covers your first month’s payment; claim within 14 days of that month’s links being delivered.
What isn’t covered
- Rankings, traffic or sales. No one controls Google, so we don’t guarantee results, and anyone who does is a red flag.
- Changes on your side, such as a target page that’s moved, deleted, redirected or changed after we deliver, or a request to change the URL or anchor after the link is live.
- Your site becoming ineligible, for example if it’s penalised, goes offline or changes to a niche the publisher won’t accept.
- Orders placed in breach of our terms, such as illegal products or misleading content.
How to claim
Email hello@badassbacklinks.com with your order number and what’s wrong. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 business days (your bank may take a few more days to show it). Replacements are usually live within 14 days.
These guarantees are in addition to any rights you have under consumer law where you live; they don’t reduce them.
